Vegas (Sony) Movie Studio Platinum has begun to react to some video clips from the internet with stuttering, jerky video and sound and it renders in the same way. Didn't used to happen and the same clip plays and renders just fine in Corel Video Studio. They are not large clips. I probably should upgrade, but I am trying to determine if there is a work-a-round or if the latest version will have the same problem. I do not believe this has anything to do with memory usage. Some clips "straighten" out if I run them through a video converter first. In the end some clips behave and others do not and I wonder what to do.
