Struggling with zooming the way I want

michelle-m wrote on 6/6/2023, 8:23 PM

I'm new to photostory deluxe 2023. I'm struggling with zooming the way I want to, and I haven't been able to find any tutorials on what I'm trying to do, or a help guide.

I've tried the full effect mode, and the window for effects (both screenshots included). Neither do what I want. In fact, I have no idea how to use it!

The collage picture posted here has arrows of how I want the zoom/pan to go. I want to start with a full size picture of the whole collage. Then I want to zoom in on picture #1 in the upper left, and then follow the numerical sequence.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

Can any one offer insight on how to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

@michelle-m

Hi,

Camera/Zoom Shot is a front end easy way to do panning and zooming. It actually uses the Size/Position/Rotation effect and keyframing, all the same as Magix Movie Studio does. So I suggest that you start with my tutorials on this:

followed by 44, 45 and 47. Then you'll have a good idea as to what you are doing. Sorry, but I haven't got to the Camera/Zoom Shot tutorial yet, but the above should help.

Hi,

You can also do a search of this forum for Camera/Zoom or CZS and you'll find many discussions about it with examples, as well as other ways to do things, like using masks and the cookie cutter.
