Still problem with "path not found"

I`ve got a tips to check if my folders really exists, but I am not sure what  measn by folders, that they exist... I thought that was something that was started when I start the program. When I start the session, I am asked what to call the file. I name the file, and then starts a new session. Before the session starts I get a message like this:

"The TV norm "united states" matches the location "NTSC (USA, Japan)" specified in the system setting and does not match the progam setting "PAL/SECAM. Default values are therefore used for analog TV recording. You can set up the TV recording parameters individually using the "Advanced" button.

Here I choose ok and it moves on. The video appears in the little window where I can play it from the VHS machine. But the problem appears when I start the "transfer video to computer" button. Then a window with "path not found" appears. I tried to check out devices and printers, and I can find the USB on that list which says it is working properly but cant`t find the place to remove check marks. (I need a guide for dummies here).

When I open the window in "advanced view" nothing appears in the hardware & drivers. There it is saying drivers (empty) and settings, and the settings has three boxes saying input, display, format. I`ve tried to change some of them to, but nothing helps (likely because I just tried random things there without knowing what would help)

Curious...

When you type in a name, you are naming the project, not any files or folders. By default the project file is going to be saved within the program folder area for the Video Easy.

NTSC is the National Television System Committee and is the standard that is used in North America (29.97 FPS) where as in Europe it is PAL (Phase Alternating Line) 25 FPS.

In my guess this first statement you are getting is stating that the video content is NTSC, but the program project is PAL, so they do not fit exactly. Now, some things are the same like the ratio and resolution. This is the size of the video in respect to the amount that it shows on screen.

By pressing "E" on the computer keyboard, while in the Video Easy program you get the project settings window. In my example bellow, I have a video that is 16:9 - 1280x720 and I want to keep that ratio and resolution, so I switch it from the PAL listing to the NTSC listing.

This should help some for the NTSC/PAL issue.

You are connecting the VHS to the computer using what device? Did that device come with the Magix software? If yes, can you explain what the device looks like?

That might help me to better help you.
