Spliting a slide with a transition effect applied

I have a simple slide show with transition effects applied.  If I single step with the arrow key to watch the transition frame by frame, I see several instances where the transition freezes for a couple frames. My first question is why does that happen?   How do I fix it?  I want to remove a single frame where the transition occurs and the Keyboard shortcut "T" causes unpredictable results.  Any thoughts here?

To allow me to better follow along, can you tell me what version of PhotoStory you have and what transition you are using?

This might help me better understand how to navigate a editing procedure... if at all possible.

The effect I am working with is the 3D morph "Flyer".  I love the effect but want to cut the stall or freezing of the plane half way through the effect. I thought I could use the "T" function to cut out unwanted frames.  I am using Photostory on DVD MX Deluxe.   Is there a better way to accomplish this?

Hi

If Photostory behaves similar to MEP then the only way to achieve what you want is:-

Create a new project, add the two clips you want to transition using the 3D flyer.  Export the project as a mpg or mxv if available.

Open the project you want the effect in and import the mpg/mxv file created above.  Now you can chop out the static part you do not want.
