I have a fully licensed copy of Spectralyers Pro 3.0, which I have been using for several years. After upgrading my Mac to Big Sur, it won't start and prompts me for a Magix license key. Please provide a solution.

This programs listed as a Sony Product for Vegas before it was bought out by Magix. Whether they also got Spectralayers Pro 3.0 as part of buying Vegas I have no idea as this in not the Vegas Creatives forum. You may find more answers on that forum from more experienced Vegas users.

. . . . Spectralyers Pro 3.0, which I have been using for several years. After upgrading my Mac to Big Sur, . . . . So, is there any way to hold Magix accountable? . . . .
Given the software is 5+ years old it is well out of its support period, the current version being SpectraLayers 8..
Are you are trying to use Spectralayers in Sound Forge Pro for MAC, which is a 32 bit program and is no longer supported?
If so then your issue is with Apple for dropping support for 32 bit programs with the release of Catalina in 2019 and later versions of the MAC OS.
No, I have been running it standalone. The purchase by Steinberg seems irrelevant. The message says to contact Magix support to license the software. Since Magix has apparently abandoned supporting the applications it bought, it looks like I am SOL. I put in my ID and password, and nothing happened. Lame horse.

Ray.
Hi, I have got the same problem as the user who started this thread here. The Software Package that I bought was called Sony Audio Master Suite Mac 2.0, which included Spectral Layers 3.o MAC.

If I bought a Version of Windows 3.11 back in the 90s, I am still free to use it as long as I have access to compatible hardware. This is not about support, but being able to use ones license as it was meant to be.
I'll have to give up on this. Luckily, Apple now provides audio noise reduction in FCPX. I doubt that I can film in a public park with ambulances going by on their way to the medical center and then take out the sirens as I could in Spectralayers, but it's better than nothing.
This is how it looks as soon as I try to start Spectral Lyers 3.0 on MAC. I am in contact with Magix Pro Support and will let you know how things proceed.
