Please add a source code view (html and script) to your menu. Using just the available widgets and tools hampers some development, as the existing tools do not do everything needed. You could call it "advanced mode" so those that don't want to code would not need to use it. Thanks.

That is not possible because Web Designer, like many other modern web design programs, does not generate any HTML code or scripts until you actually publish or export the site.
If you want to add custom HTML, you can - look up Placeholders and adding HTML to the HTML header and/or body in Help and PDF manual.
