I keep getting these pop-ups when I try to open a project using one of the soundpools I bought, but I can't seem to fix it. The files aren't adminstrator protected, the files haven't been moved that I can tell, they're in the same location.
The location given in the messages looks like you have created a folder location in your user profile which is not accessible to Music maker.
The default location for installing Soundpools is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools
The first messages would suggest that in MMM program settings, the Soundpools folder location still set to the default.
The second message would suggest that you have pointed MMM to the folder where the loop file is, and when it tries to write the support file needed, which goes into the same folder as the loop file, MMM does not have write permissions to that folder.
Music Maker can only scan one location for Soundpools.
If you have created the new location in order to separate Soundpools you have purchased from those installed by Music Maker they can be placed in a sub-folder of the default file path and MMM will scan and list these in the Soundpools tab.

So if I move the soundpool to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools then the problem should be fixed? Did I understand correctly?
As I said, this is not a Soundpool; these are just loops that you can put wherever you want.
Looking at your first images, I see that MM is trying to create a temp file, H0, but cannot.
The entire path is quite long and perhaps there is some kind of a limit. The loops are embedded very deeply. I would have put these under a simpler folder structure, like Music\Loops\Ambient\Vocal Atmospheres 4\then the structure given in the zip file. BTW, nice choice of loops - soothing.
As a test, try copying the file(s) to somewhere simple, under your documents or higher up in the Music folder, with less subfolders, and when asked, point to that location.

I am not good with computers like that, so I have no idea what any of that means.
. . . try copying the file(s) to somewhere simple, under your documents. . . .
If you have just one drive in the computer then inside a sub-folder of your Documents folder is the only place I would recommend placing the sound loops. This also applies to any documents or media you create.
Windows has features to protect system and other 'non-user' locations such as the Desktop, on the OS and programs drive, ie drive C:, using any other locations outside the documents folder on a single drive system risks losing whatever you keep in them by an update or OS reset.
The Documents folder is also protected by Windows, however in the opposite direction, updates are not allowed to make any changes to the root folder or its contents.
