Slide Transitions

Please let me know how to copy slide transitions to the rest of my slides?

Click the transition icon indicated in yellow in image below, and select the indicated option in the popup dialog option that opens.

When i get a message like the following what do I do? how to resolve this when the "object is short"? how do i apply this particular transition to the slide?

The message is telling you that the object you are applying the fade is shorter than the duration of the fade - check the length of the object you are applying the fade to - it must have a very short duration - switch to Timeline mode and zoom in to see if there is a very short clip - it may be as little as 1 frame long as shown below.
