Short slideshow too large to burn to DVD.

New MAJIX Photostory Deluxe 2014 user.  Have created first slideshow with holiday pics, MP3 background music, and no video or animation clipes and its only 30-35 minutes run time (about 280 photos total, all JPEGs).  Not a large file, but still assessed as too large for single DVD when I go through burn process.  How do I resolve?

Hi

The most common cause is a stray object further along the timeline after the 'end' of the movie.

If you press the End key the timeline cursor will jump to the end of the last object on the timeline.

You can delete this and then any extra space created by it as shown below

and then press Alt + Del.

John,

Many thanks for the prompt response, but when in the timeline mode, the "End"
key doesn't seem to go to the last slide (no response), although the "Home" key will absolutely take me to the start of the slideshow.  I can manually navigate to what appears to be the last slide (End), but I can't see the view you show with a bar extending beyond that possibly needs to be deleted.  Any suggestions?  I would assume the scroll bar (at bottom) would be at end when pushed to far right, but that manual move doesn't let me see anything beyond.

Happy New Year,

v/r,

Ron

Hi

If the scroll bar goes right to the end and you can see the last slide and the range bar does not extend any further or there is no blank timeline after the last image then it is unlikely a stray object is further along.

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline and a screen shot of the burn dialog?

John
