Shaky vieo after applying video stabilization mode

Why do I get a shaky result in a rendered video after applying image stabilization mode? The video is stabilized, the center section is magnified but the total video shakes a lot in tiny but very frequent movements. It happens every time regardless of CPU acceleration, video resolution or format. Happens in Magix Video Delux 2014 Plus and Video Pro X6. To me there seems to be a software bug.

Hi

. . . . It happens every time regardless of CPU acceleration, video resolution or format. . . .

These have no effect on the stabilisation.

The problem is probably caused by the video shakiness exceeding the displacement settings and / or the Stabilisation radius is too small.

You will have to experiment with the different settings in the Image stabilisation dialog in particular the Stabilisation radius.

You can increase the Displacement setting however do be aware that you may introduce the occasional black border as the correction is applied.

Image stabilisation is not an exact science and may not always be effective.

To avoid the 'shakes' I have several accessories which I can use depending on the situation I am in -  tripod, monopod and the most convenient of all are a SteadePod and a Modosteady - this is particularly useful because it also converts to a shoulder 'gun' or a mini tripod.

The last two are always in my video camera bag or pocket.
