Welcome to the Magix forums.

Can you first read this post and give us full details of your computer, OS, hardware etc?

Then, when you installed the software for RYVT, which driver did you choose for the USB dongle. It sounds rather as if you did not install the correct one, likely to need to be 64 bit on a "modern" computer.

When you select to record from the Import from analogue sources eg video recorder option the following window opens - in this window the drop down, circled in image below, is probably set to Webcam, select the drop down and change this to the USB capture device.
