@RobJO

Hi and welcome to the forum.

. . . . How to set the order . . . .

This has to be done manually within Photostory if you are importing via the media pool and I would recommend working in Timeline mode not Storyboard mode - editing is easier IMHO.

Alternatively, assuming you want the image files in date/time taken order, there are 2 ways of doing this:

  1. Using Windows File Explorer set the view order to details and then select the Date modified column to ascending order, select all the required image files and drag them to the timeline in Photostory.

  2. Use a bulk renaming program such as Advanced Renamer to change the file name to the date modified and use the format - yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss to ensure correct ordering.

. . . . or rename photos on the story board . . . .

You cannot do this on the timeline in Photostory only in the Media pool, externally in Windows File Explorer or as in item 2 above if you want a date/time sequence

Hi to all

I have two more questions.

1- how can I set sharpness in bulk for all photos at the same level?

2- is there an easy way to add music? When I add music, I seem to get two tracks playing at the same time????

Thanks for the help

@RobJO

Hi

. . . . how can I set sharpness in bulk for all photos at the same level . . .

There are several ways to do this working in Timeline mode.

After setting the first image sharpness as required:

  1. then right click and Select Effects settings,Copy, select the effect(s) to copy, then select all the remaining images right click Effects settings, Paste

  2. as for 1 except use keyboard shortcuts Alt+Shift+K keyboard to copy and use Alt+Shift+U to paste

  3. right click and Select Effects settings, Apply to all note this will also apply the effect(s) to previous images if they exist.

  4. right click and Select Effects settings, Apply to all the following objects note this will only apply the effect(s) to following images.

Adding music is the same as adding video drop a supported format audio file onto the timeline - again work in Timeline mode if you are not doing

These are all detailed in the PDF manual available under Help
