I had to clear my Computer data. I have Vegas 22. My computer caught a virus. I'm attempting to put my serial number in but it keeps saying it is invalid or registered to another product. I'm using the same computer I downloaded it on previously. What can I do to get my access back and make it work? I'm using a PC

@Talmadge-Miller Make sure you use the correct serial number. For this, visit Magix.com and log into your customer account with your e-mail address and password. Then look under 'My Products' for your software. There you'll find the correct serial number. If it still doesn't work then try deactivating the installation. The option is also available in your customer account.

Hello again Support, thank you for your speedy response. The serial number provided me is the correct one. I copied and pasted it as well as typed. I got the green check mark on the serial number being placed in as well as the correct email associated with the account. I continue to get the same message. I have also deactivated it and still no luck. I'm very perplexed as to how this could happen. Is there anything outside of these parameters that can remedy this situation?

@Talmadge-Miller How did you clear your computer data? By completely reinstalling Windows and deleting everything? Or did you just reset Windows to an earlier state?

If you only reset it, maybe it helps if you uninstall the software, and then reinstall it. For this, use the installer from your customer account.

Be aware, I'm not support, I'm just a user like you.
