I am using Magix Music Maker 15. The scheduler.exe stops working when you open the program. In addition the program Cd is inserted but magix doesn't think it is...and asks to please insert cd. As well as the program shuts down because magix says its unstable. Please help...ive tried everything
What Windows operating system are you running?
I think the installation was unsuccessful at authenticating itself as a genuine product. This might be dependent on your answer to what operating system you are using. If you are installing Music Maker 15 on Windows 7, then that alone could be an issue.
Regardless, my recommendation is to uninstall the software and reboot the computer. Once this has restarted you will insert the Music Maker 15 disc again... this time close anything that auto opens.
You need to browse the disc, look for the steup.exe file and RIGHT click that file and "Run As Administrator" this will prompt you with some are you sure type questions, answer yes or OK to those and the installation should begin... but you’re not done yet.
After the install is complete, you will need to close the program if it opens then look for the Music Maker 15 icon that installs on your desktop... here you will need to RIGHT click the icon and "Run As Administrator". It may at that time verify the disc setup information to that which was installed, then prompt you to enter the serial number.
If you get to that stage, then I think you have a successful installation thought, it might require you to always RIGHT click and "Run As Administrator" to run the software... that would be the case if it was running in a operating system it was not designed.
