Scene detection by DV timecode is not correct - 1 frame error

Movie Edit Pro 14 ver 7.5.2.11 makes error while inserting scene starts/ends from DV timecode information. E.g. if you check scene start points from SCENE DETECTION of the recorded AVI file you see the the same scene picture on both "end of previous scene" and "current scene". Actually there is 1 frame error. E.g. if Magix says the scene end is 00:00:02.14 the correct value should be 00:00:02:15.
This behaviour is a bit disturbing if you edit your movie in timeline mode. The first picture of the next scene shows picture from the previous scene.

I tested if this phenomen has been corrected in MEP16 (evaluation version), but no. Same error appears.

And update to MEP 14 version 7.5.3.2. (latest of MEP14?) has not been possible because of funny language contradiction between MEP14 (English) and my XP (Finnish). I have also posted a question about this issue.

My PC is Pentium4 with 2 GB main memory running WIN XP SP3 Media Center Edition. My camcorder is Canon HV30.

-- I tested with my good old SONY TRV-620E Digital8 camcorder and surprise - this 1 frame error is out!

So it seems that CANON HV30 sends erronous information to MEP.

Waiting comments from other CANON HV30 users?

Have you tried with the "use DV timecode" box checked or unchecked to see if it makes a difference

There is no difference if DV timecode is used or not. In fact I posted this question to Finnish Digivideo.fi Forum and got reply that similar behavior has been noted also with Pinnacle Studio software. So it seems that HV30 is not working correctly and not Magix or Pinnacle software.
However,  there is a software/firmware update version 1.0.1.0 available for HV30 which Canos says only corrects regular DV video quality.
Pls see:

My HV30 has the original sw 1.0.0.0.
