Saving images with photo designer 7

deskmate wrote on 12/9/2015, 2:56 PM

Trying to save images in a chosen subfolder , seems like the software renames the image with the name of the sub folder then places it in a different folder than what I choose? win 7, photo designer 7

for instance. Save as

Directory: Admin

name  sample.jpg

ends up in root directory as Adminsample.jpg

Hi,

I just tried Photo Designer 7 as a standalone and it works fine for me. When you do Save as, do you navigate to the correct directory, enter, and then give the filename, ok? My text worked perfectly and saved the image with the name that I gave it, in the directory that I navigated to.

Maybe you could indicate your steps and supply a couple of screen shots as to what you are doing.

notice how I try to "save as"

I c.Click the save button and notice how it changes name and the error msg I get, I am the admin. but I click no and try to save it  again, which lets me the second time however changes the name by adding the subfolder name instead of saving it there, it saves in the users folder.

Very strange. Did you try selecting a directory first under My documents, double-click on it, the give the name of the file and then ok?

Are you using Photo Designer 7 as a standalone or from within Movie Edit Pro?
