samplitude silver soundcloud edition - I'm getting a Error Code: -6 message. was working fine until today... have tried reinstalling several times, help!

dell inspiron 1300 laptop

samplitude silver - soundcloud edition latest installer

error code -6 when ever i try to run the program.

have tried reinstalling several times including when cleared registry of all reference to the program.

any help appreciated,
