Samplitude 11 Silver - recording two stereo inputs in parallel

Can I record 4 tracks in parallel, or two stereo tracks with an 'icon cube pro' USB interface with 4 inputs.   The Samplitude help index: tutorial refers to an MR64 control panel under recording but the MR64 icon that should be there, looking like a tiny tape cassette, seems to be absent from my panel and not in any of the pull-down menus.  Vista OS on a Sony VGN-FW21L laptop.

Answering my own query - cube pro does now sample OK with 4 mono inputs at up to 48 KHz,  the problem is a lack of help in the manual for different configurations.

I set it to two stereo inputs by trial and error and it records all four channels.  Still haven't located the MR64 interface claimed to be in the software.

I've heard a lot of problems and issues in regards to recording multiple tracks via USB connection. May I suggest using a sound card with 4 or more line inputs. I use a Maya 44 by ESI sound card. I use 4 busses from a mixer. I can record 2 stereo tracks, 4 independant tracks, one stereo with 2 independant tracks, whatever. The ESI works well with Samplitude or just about any DAW. It is easy to set up, and I have no problem with glitches or overloading the data. The card works with ASIO, MME, WDM or GSIF inputs. It is a full duplex 4 in 4 out card.

No "icon" for MR 64. I'm using Samplitude MX.  At the bottom of my screen on the left side there's a pop-up window with several options ; custom, easy, power user, MR 64 etc. Just click the MR 64 and your 64 channel mixer should appear.
