Hi, you cannot change this, but there is a fix.

 1) go to TIMELINE mode (lower icon on lower left bar) 2) click on the photo concerned, 3) click on the down arrow, 4) select "Background Design", 5) select USE COLOUR 6) click on Black swatch which will take you to the colour selection chart, 7) Select the colour you want to colour the black bars you spoke of.

or you can choose 1),2), 3), 4), select Use Picture File, then select whichever picture you want..... I thinkyou can also navigage to your pictures and use one of them, but I havn't tried this yet.

or you can select Use Video File & select one of them.

Note: if you select USE COLOUR you can also choose SELECT COLOUR FROM PREVIEW, this provides you with an EYE DROPPER to select any colour from the picture as your frame fill.
