Rescue my videotapes 4: Have audio but no srcreen to view tape? What am I doing wrong?

I have audio being recorded but no viewable screen to see/edit from. Ive only just purchased this so its probably me doing something wrong!

Hardware:HP pavillion (new)

Operating system: Windows 7

Version 4.0

Which version of Windows 7 is installed on the HP - Home or Professional and is it 32 or 64 bit?

To find the information right click Computer and select Properties you will get the following window open - the circled bits are the info required.

Depending on the version of Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) try updating the drivers for the USB capture device available here under Tools and Others, Hardware drivers
