I do not seem to be able to get in direct contact with Xara support- about normal for
nowadays. An attempt to register the [supposedly] new version of Xara that I got in November
does this (see att ) when I attempt to register. I wouldn't mind but the program won't run until I have!
The bit about there being a communication problem is rubbish, since I can run firefox and call up web sites
in this same session. If Xara is using some funny port or other that windows normally leaves open then
You'd better tell me what it is so I can open a linux firewall pinhole to make it work. Yes I did look at my
account and no there was no mention of any registration of the password (see att)
