Replacement for Vegas Movie Studio and Architect

I have been a regular user of Vegas Home Studio PE 9.0 but have recently experienced a complete computer failure which has now lost the software. I have one project with a *.vf format which is effectively complete but need to be transferred to DVD format. Could I be advised if Magix Movie Studio 18 (or a suitable alternative package) would provide a direct reading of the work. In addition is there an appropriate package available to convert this work to an authoring format as a DVD? I am using a computer with Windows 10 processing.

@John-Syers

Hi

The direct replacement is Vegas Pro, Vegas Movie Studio is no longer avaialble - see this post in the Vegas forum - which is also where you should be posting queries for Vegas products. You may be eligible for the Upgrade price.

Magix Movie Studio is a very different program - watch some of the tutorials listed here for an idea of the differences and is probably not an ideal substitute for existing Vegas projects
