Trying to render a song I created on ACID Pro 11 but keep getting the following error:
Plug-in: 'AM-Munition_VST' failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.
Plug-in: 'eFX_Reverb_VST' failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.
The output device Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth is in use by another application.
How can I fix this?
Try restarting your computer. Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option.
If this doesn't help, there were some suggestions that work while encountering VST problems in Sound Forge. They might work for Acid as well
Firstly, please refresh the VST paths in the program preferences.
Secondly, close Acid and then hold CTRL and SHIFT and double click on the Acid shortcut icon to start the program. Keep holding CTRL and SHIFT and wait until a small window appears that will ask you if you want to delete the cache. After doing this, the VST plugins should work again.
Holding CTRL and SHIFT to delete the cache is all that was needed. Thanks. Much appreciated!
