Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

It seems that the software leaves the pics in their original places and just maintains a database

That is absolutely correct! Photo Manager, like all similar photo listing programs, is nothing other than a database. It simply stores and displays the current location(s) of your photos. To put all your photos into one directory/folder on your computer you will have to move them! (And then tell PM where they now are!)

Just to add: I don't know of any software that is able to do what you want "automatically". However, how would such a program know for certain that you did want to move file X but not file Y?

Hi

Without knowing which version of PhotoManager you are using it is difficult to be specific, however I have PhotoManager 15 and it is possible to move images as follows:

  1. Open the folder containing the images to be moved

  2. Select the images to be moved in that folder

  3. Right click one of the selected images and select Copy into folder

  4. Open the file/folder browser - indicated by the blue arrow in the image below

  5. Browse to an existing folder or create a new folder in the required location and click OK

  6. Check the Move files option indicated by the red arrow in the image above.

  7. Click OK .

  8. The files should now be moved and the folder pane on the left updated.

Repeat as required.

The above procedure should be the similar for later versions of PhotoManager
