reinstalling

I recently had to replace my SSD/C: card and lost all of my programs. I purchased Vegas Pro version 16 (order number Removed by Moderator and shortly thereafter did an upgrade to version 17. I would like to take advantage of the upgrade to version 20 but usually you have to have the original on the computer to upgrade. Is this true of your program? If so, is there a way to get a serial number for 17 so I can upgrade?

@Gary-Erkfritz

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products, with the exception of Magix Movie Studio 18 and later versions, have their own forum see the Important Posts here.

There should also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.

I would suggest you post your question there
