Hello steptoe, there could be a lot of reasons for this. If this out of sync seems to increase, then you probably are losing frames in your system.  Try killing ALL other USB devices, ie disconnect them when you are capturing videos. Only plug the USB video converter into a USB port on your computer, and not via a hub or extension lead even.  Try a different USB port on your computer as well as this can also help

 

Close other applications to free up performance.  Maybe that will help you. If not, it may need Technical Support direct from MAGIX. Cheers M o' L
