Recording problems

Using Widows 10. Magix software version is 9. Initial 3 videos went ok. Now error "reduce the quality to put less strain on computer". Selected chose the option"optimize for older computers......". Does not work either! 100+ GB available free space. File saving location may need to be changed! How?

We need more information:

Computer specification, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

From what are you recording - video camera, VCR etc ?

Are you using a Magix USB video grabber if so what colour and markings does it have, or a Firewire card/device??

What settings are you using to capture video?
