Hi,

 

tI will be much helpful to answer,if you pleae clear

what you want to do and how you are going to record?

1. From Music Maker, just want to make music on software.

2. From external recorder, Guitar etc?

 

3. Which version do you use

4. What is your OS Windows xp, vista or 7

You are correct just by following manual we can not make music because manual is only explaining functions and features.

 

Thank you for providing information.

 

For making music there are different methods but the easiest way is using song maker.

Before you start anything you should turn off Easy mode, refer screen shot, top left under Magix click on the right side as shown below. After that you can see all soundpool, file mager, synthesizer etc.

For details with text and images please check the tutorial. It will show you how to make music.

But if you do not want songmaker you will have to drag and drop instruments on track.
