Hello, I am using an up to date Acid Music Studio 11 and have a recording issue.
There is a delay when I record a live track so that track inserts a bit of silence at the beginning which then requires me to manually resync it.
I am using a Yamaha AG06/AG03 external usb audio interface set to 44,100 and my project is also that rate.
My PC has 12 GB RAM and an i5 3.20 GHz processor.
I just noticed in my Yamaha interface settings that there is a buffer size currently set to 512 Samples. Could this be the problem? The lowest setting is 64.
@dLife 512 samples at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz are just about 11.6 milliseconds. This isn't a noticeable delay for the human ear.
It could be that there is a delay in your Yamaha device. It looks like it is a mixer, not a recording interface. Maybe it isn't designed to send audio with smaller delays.
Does this delay also appear in other audio recording apps?
