question about Rewire

At some point I must've opened Fruityloops while Acid 8 was open and activated the Rewire feature. Now Acid has locked Fruityloops to this song and initializes Rewire even though it has no midi tracks at all, and it doesnt work properly until Fruity is turned on. How do I remove Fruityloops from this particular Acid project file?

BTW, your forum form logs people out when they try to make a new post. I had just logged in two minutes earlier and it logged me out when I hit post. This has happened every time I tried to post here.

Rewire will show up in the mixer section of ACID just like any other software synth... delete the rewire "instrument" from the project mixer section and it should no longer be included in the project file.

I did delete the Fruity VSTI from the mixer and still having the problem so maybe that wasn't it. Acid behaves as if there is still some Rewire happening, and totally freezes if minimized. Once it freezes, I have to shut the program down in task manager.
