Purple Hue on White Backgrounds

Hi there.

I encountered a really strange problem today.

I was messing around with the templates "Opening Closing Credits" and selected the "Cosy" template to see what it looked like.

All of a sudden, all my movie clips had the white elements tinted a purplish color. I tried to undo the effect with no success.

Even more strange, when i shut down Magix, restarted the program and tried recreating the movie using a new project, this purplish hue remained, almost like it was adopted as a default setting.

Any ideas of what may be going on and how I can remove this?

Maybe I need to reload Magix on my computer?

Hi Marc.

Uninstalling the program is really a last resort type of move and often if you are not careful, leaves bits of code behind that could effect the next reinstall so you would probably have to hunt down and delete all the folders and files before reinstalling the program. The only LUT I can find that leaves behind a purple-ish hue behind it is 'cold' and can't find anything labelled 'cosy'. Also anything applied to one clip should not effect anything else let alone a whole project so I'm not sure what went wrong.

Have you tried the following?

If not, does that work?

I also suggest not ticking the box in the program movie settings to use the project settings for all future projects.

This sounds like you may have accidentally switched the Preview monitor to Anaglyph mode - the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + . , however this does not normally affect pure white.

Click the 'hambuger' icon top left of the Preview monitor and ensure Standard (2D) is selected, or use the keyboard shortcut . (period/full stop).

Cosy is a title template under Opening Closing Credits as Marc has stated above.

Sorry I missed the 'Opening Closing Credits' credits bit. I would not have suspected the 'switched the Preview monitor to Anaglyph mode'.
