Purchased CD-ROM; having problems with Code

I just purchased the Magix MX Music Maker at Office Depot.  I am trying to take the download version to full.  I have registered the product, and I have tried to enter the serial number from the paper CD case.  But it will not accept it.  However, it did accept it on the Registration Page.

I have my receipt and I even the name of retailer.  What am I to do?  Simply wait until customer service opens on Monday?

Your question is very confusing therefore to guide you is difficult. As it is Christmas I guess you have to wait to contact customer support of Magix. BUT in the meantime.....

You said,

"You purchased the Magix MX Music Maker at Office Depot." Is it a Box version?

Then you said trying to take the download version.

Do you mean you used Box version for the installation of the software and want to download more contents from Magix website? If you used boxed version after installation you will have to enter serial number then register the product?

Ok what ever the problem, some times entering the serial number create problem.

Check if you Caps(alphabets key) is not lock, upper and lower is ok.

Then I think avoid any space in between serial numbers. (other than needed)

Or uninstall your software, clear browser cookies and history. Re-install Magix MX.

And re try.

Sorry if my answer is not helpful.

"I am trying to take the download version to full."

Are we to assume that you mean the TRIAL version (not the full "download" version)?

If so, you need to completely un-install and remove all of the files from the trial version first before loading a full version.  Simply un-installing does not remove all of the files created by the trial version, These need to be removed manually or by using the tool below...

No. . .I am sorry for the confusion.  I had the downloaded free trial on computer.  Wife bought the boxed version, so I simply want to provide the serial number so what is on the computer will now open back up again (because when I open it up, it asks for a Serial Number, which is not being recognized).
