I have 2 pc's both on the same xara set up. I can publish using my office pc no problem. Yet using my office mini with all the exact same ftp settings as my office pc yet it will not publish or update the files on my website? is it using the second device? are there some kind of extra settings in xara ive missed?

Check the Antivirus/Firewall is not blocking the upload.
Which version of Windows is on the mini PC?
Can you access the website from the mini PC using Windows File Explorer - enter the website ftp server URL in the address bar (indicated in green below, and press Enter, you should then get a password dialog box

Many thanks for that I'm running win 10 on the office pc and 11 on office mini.
I've checked mcafees and there is nothing blocked there except adobe cause the updates were getting on me nerves lol

Check the following Internet options are checked as shown below, a recent Windows 11 update may have turned some off.
