Hi there, this is a pretty annoying dilema.
To put simply, I have been using software (Vegas Pro 15 Edit), and I have taken a hiatus because of Cov19. Now I am back, I have tried opening my program, and it requires a product registration. I have tried contacting sony and they say to come here. But I have read posts here which say it is sony's problem, so please hear me out.
I have no product registered. I was able to just use it by putting my serial key code in, and my email address. When trying to open vegas, it still has that information stored. But it doesn't work. In my magix account, I seem to not have any product registered, and when I try to register it, it says it is already registered with the message:
"Serial number already used
The serial number you entered has already been used. You may have already registered. Registering again is not necessary. If you have any questions, please contact out technical support team:"
And when I try to create an activation code, it comes with with an unregistered message:
"Product has not been registered yet
No registration could be located for this serial number.
Please register your product first and then try to activate it. [Go to product registration]"
So I am wondering if there is an email I can contact who can just help put this damn serial number into my account so I can register it so it can work again finally.
