VPX7 - Version 14.0.0.143 - running as Administrator:

1. Was working fine until I used Red Giant Magix Bullet (MB) Knoll Light Factory EZ that came with MEP2015 Premium. I added a simple effect and after accepting, was returned to the timeline and then VPX7 crashed. Restarting ok until I clicked on the Effects tab, which caused VPX7 to crash. I tried a new project with a different video clip. Again, clicking on the Effects tab caused a crash. I rebooted, started a new project, imported 2 photos, clicked on Effects, crash. Solution from Magix: delete the ini file under the Video_Pro_X.ini file under: C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Video_Pro_X7 and/or C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe20_pro (proposed by Magix but didn'tseem to have any effect) and/or
   C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe21_premium
   In any event I got my Effects tab back working.
2. Tried Knoll LIght Factory again and it crashed each time, but without causing the problem of crashing when navigating to the Effects tab. The same happens with MB Chromatic Glow. RG RetroGrade works.
3. The Command on the popdown scissors for cutting and trimming, i.e., shortcuts Z and U, cut out the piece but leave a gap. In previous versions, the gap was closed up. Still waiting for a reply on this.
4. I have automatic Video/Audio on separate tracks turned on by default. Sometimes the wave form does not show up. Shift+E does nothing. This is intermittent and I cannot reproduce it at will, it just occasionally happens. Strange. I can usually get the waveform by re-importing the clip.
5. Project folder - in the English version, the headings after Name and Typ are in German. Minor problem that does not affect use of the program.

Questions?

A. Has anyone tested VPX7 with MB Knoll Light Factory EZ and MB Chromatic Glow and had the same problems? (I have no problems with these in MEP2015 Premium, which is strange as MEP2015 and VPX7 are very similar - same motor.)

B. Does anyone else have problems with points 3 and 4?

C. I understand that using Xara version X10 does not work properly with VPX7. I confirm that X9 works fine, in that the video advances with the animation. Can someone confirm that X10 still does not work with the new patch of VPX7?

D. Any other problems?
