Problems with video from a Kodak Zi6

I am considering purchasing Movie Edit Pro 15 for editing video from a Kodak Zi6. Working with the trial version, on the following file from a Zi6:
http://rfquerin.org/Zi6Samples/Zi6_SampleFullClipOrig.MOV

Exporting this movie to a mpeg or mp4 results in a very strange studdering video file. If I play this video I can see that every few frames the video steps backwards, as if it plays 6 frames forward and 2 backwards. Very strange.

I am doing a straight forward conversion, no resize or de-interlace. the material is progressive to start with. Any ideas?

Problem solved, found a tool called MP4Cam2AVI that can repackage a mov file to a avi file (without recoding). The Avi file works fine. Appeared to be a problem for all video editors, not just Magix. (except Nero 9 recode, which is the only prog that can handle the Zi6 mov files without MP4Cam2AVI)
