problems with installation

I have bought photostory deluxe 2023 and installed it on two computers. now one of the computers is not working very well. I installed photostory on a laptop instead that I bought yesterday but when I wanted to register it with my password it didn't work and I got a message that I had already installed it on two computers and it was max. when I bought the program there was no information that you could not use it on several computers. now I need help to be able to register it on my laptop because the other computer is not working well and I want to leave it for repair. please help me with new password so that I can fix it.

Hi

You can install the program on as many computers as you wish, however only 2 can be 'activated' installations.

To free up one of the activations this can be done in program - Help, Deactivate program or in your user account at magix.com - login with the email address and password used to register the software and select My products, then Show more details under the Photostory entry.

Did you read the EULA ? The information may also be in the purchase confirmation email with your serial number.

If you require the program on more than 2 computer then you can contact Magix at infoservice@magix.net and ask about purchasing more 'seats' (activation slots)

Is the issue with the computer in general or specifically Photostory?

If Photostory - what is your computer specification, Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full and the amount of free space on the hard drive(s) you have.

I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

A screen shot of the Program settings, Device options tab  would help.

If the program itself is working fine and the issue is with importing a video clip then download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips that has the issue, and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.

how much does it cost to activate in the third place and what to do?
