Problems with BPM of arrangement

Piotr-Jasiak wrote on 6/19/2021, 5:40 AM

Music Maker 29.0.6.38 64-bit - Win 10 Home

Example. The arrangement is 100 BPM. I drop the sounpool at bpm 140 and the temp of the whole arrangement changes to 140. In the settings I found an option - Automatically match samples to BPM - but unfortunately it does not work, no matter if it is not selected and this also applies to sub-points (only for changed samples, e.g. Magix Soundpool - and - use for samples longer than 15 seconds). Neither of these settings helps. Do you know how to do it? Is there something wrong with my program?

@Piotr-Jasiak Have you changed the tempo back to 100 BPM after loading the first loop into your project?

The tempo of the arrangement was initially adjusted automatically to the tempo of the song I used (100 BPM) and its tempo was recognized by the tempo recognition tool (which is just 100 BPM). Then I worked with sliced pieces of this song and the tempo was set to 100 BPM all the time. Only when I used the sample from sounpool did the tempo change to 140 BPM.

@Piotr-Jasiak

Hi

Check in the program settings you have the Automatic adjust samples to BPM option turned on as shown below.

The Soundpool loop tempos will the be adjusted to the project BPM.
