Hi....Just bought a new faster pc with windows 7 ultimate....when I install MMM using my serial numer and login I get a box asking me to register....I tried to then I had another box telling me the serial number had been used before and if I was already registered that I would not need to do so again...however whenever I open the program it has the "please regisre" box on top and when I close it the program closes too?

Also I have a fairly small SSD drive as my C: drive so want to install and run MMM16 from my H: drive which is a large SATA2 drive...otherwise my C: drive (operating system) will be overful!!.)...can you help please?...I am sure that you have ammended my records to show my new email address...it says so in the hard copy record book that I keep?....if not it is now johndawsonuk@gmail.com

You do now!

Is this the first install of this software, or did/do you have it installed on another computer previously?

Magix and other companies are very protective of their programs do to Copyright infringement. Most programs today limits how many times you can load a single program on diffirent computers. Magix only allows one program to one computer. When you register a program with a company your warranting the product and your locking the product key, so when you try and reuse the product key again, on a different computer even if you had removed the program from one computer to another your original product key is still active from that computer even if you had remove, lost, stolen it does not matter. Your product key is still active. Customers will need to call the company, manufacture or distributor to reregister the product again. Telephone (US / North America)
1-305 722 5810 (9 am to 4 pm EST Mon-Fri) Goodluck P.S. Back up  all your programs.

Ooops...I thought that was emailing Magix themselves...thanks for pointing out my mistake....it would cost me quite a lot of money to ring the USA....is there a contact email for Magix where I might be able to resolve this problem with their support team??

I have recently bought a new computer so removed MMM from the old one and am attempting to re-install on the new one....hence the problem :-))

de-register on the olde machine first, that will tell the database that its not being used twice!

I am not sure what activation code does, but you can generate one on the website - if you are lucky, it will let you carry on and use the program.

e-mail support - go for technical (sales never answered me) and the e-mail support is in Germany

support@magix.net

The answers are in poor English  - so use very very plain English words to explain and / or send a photo / screenshot to show them.
