pro 16 not installing on vista

have received hard copy of movie edit pro 16. on my pc with vista I get welcome screen and music. it then hangs with small box saying please wait. Have installed it ok on works pc with XP.

any ideas?

I tried to install under windows7 but it also failed.
some files can't copy to destination folder.

How do I do?

ps: I'm korean. so my wiondows character system is 2byte.
maybe it cause the problems.

after phone call to support, installed in safe mode. still problem with no in prog web browser, but can live without it
