Possible bug or anomaly with Object Trimmer

This applies to MEP2016 Plus/Premium as well as VPX, latest patch.

In the object trimmer, which I rarely use but probably will in the future after learning how it works for a future tutorial, the lower right arrow button does not act as predicted. Look at the Object trimmer diagram and text in the manual. The arrow button shown as (6) is supposed to adjust the lower right handle of the object. If there is an object to the right and if the present object has been trimmed so that there is still some material available to extend rightwards, the right side of the clip should create an overlap (transition) with the next object. In both VPX and MEP, it actually pushes the adjacent object to the right and that object creates an overlap with its adjacent object. Dragging the lower right handle of the object on the timeline creates the overlap correctly, but not the Object trimmer.

I assume that this is not the intended action. Can someone please confirm? If so, I will report it to Magix.

Thanks,
