PLEASE HELP! Getting horrible sound glitches while recording and during playback

Hopefully someone out there can help me with my problem. I'm currently using a downloaded version of Samplitude Music Studio 15. I have been experiencing some pretty disturbing audio glitches (sounds like distorted feedback) when I'm recording, during playback and recently have discovered the same audio glitches are happening when I export files to .WAV or .AIFF. I've provided a sample of the terrible noise I'm getting. WARNING the sound is very loud and it would be wise to keep your volume down to a minimum level, trust me you'll hear it. HELP!!!

Hi, I had this same issue. The problem has to do with the reverb in the Samplitude Audiostudio FX-RACK.  I theorize that an error occurs when using the reverb on multiple tracks.  The noise happens when the tracks are bounced into a single file during export.  It is almost as though the reverb builds up, explodes, and then returns to normal.  You didn’t mention your computer type, but I have used two HP laptops and the problem existed on both of them.  So it may also be a soundcard compatibility issue.

Since the noise happens randomly or sometimes not at all, one solution is to re-bounce the tracks until you get a clean take.  You may also try to freeze the reverbed tracks prior to bouncing.  Finally you may want to use a third party VST plug-in reverb such as Dasample GlaceVerb.  It is free and eliminates the problem.

I hope this helps.
