Playback while recording?

Hi all i am a noob on this program ( Music maker 14 producer) so be patient... So i am recording my guitar for lets say 30 secs.Then i am playing back the track and i listen it. So far so good... NOw i want to hear the recorded part and while i hear it to record a new one. When i am doin this,the old part is the backround of the new one :( old and new in one. Can someone plz tell me how to playback my recorded tracks and record new ones without mixing it with the olds?

Hi,
On your record window there is a check box that says Playback While Recording. Check that and you should be good to go. You wouldn't even know it was there.

If that doesn't help then click the REC button on the left side (icon area) of the track you wish to monitor. That will monitor but does bleed through to your recordings sometimes.
