play on dvd and pc

I had to reienstall windows on my computer. Since I did I am no longer able to burn a dvd that plays on a dvd player and a pc as it used to.It only will play on dvd player not both.

Hi,

If you're still using the option to create a standard video DVD and if the encoding and burning process is still terminating properly without any error messages and the disc is replaying on your TV, the problem is obviously not with the creation of the DVD but with the playback on your PC. Have you reinstalled and configured your DVD playing software after reinstalling Windows? You might want to try this free software that will do the job:
