Hi there,

This is a whole series of devices and they're not all the same. E.g. some of them use hardware MPEG compression, some of them don't. I got a Dazzle 90 (no hardware encoder) and have been successfully using it in conjunction with MEP for the past few years. Models with the built-in hardware encoder might be more problematic. Either way, this import wouldn't have anything to do with device presets. The capturing from this device takes place via the analog recording function in the program, which is where you need to try and check whether the driver shows up as video and audio source. I think you're referring to the presets for export functionality (e.g. MPEG-4 export).

I hope this helps. If it comes down to it, just capture in the software that was provided with your device and import the resulting file into Movie Edit Pro.
