Picture over movie

I would like to place a piture over a movie... I have made some frames and text so I would like the white colour become transparent. Is it possible? I tried with jpg and psd...

Place your picture under the movie, right-click it and choose Video effects, (or Shift+Y), then White Box. You can adjust with Threshold and Fading Range (MEP 14).
