I have a rough idea of what you are talking about. sounds like a graphics problem. Are you saying that when you highlight notes on piano roll, they all don't get highlighted, first few stay un-highlighted? I had this issue in version 8. sometimes the entire piano roll would go "blue".

Piano roll open.

note “A” slightly out of time....

hover mouse over “A” note....

piano roll trying to select notes on “B”

if I click on “G” lower octave, the intended “A” will be selected

Hi

Offset issues are often an issue with DPI scaling / high resolution displays.

Locate the programs .exe file, select properties, go to the Compatibility tab and enable 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'.

That worked , but not like I thought .

I did indeed follow that instruction....it had no result....so I “undid” the adjustment, to eliminate it from the next attempt.....however, once I reverted, no long have the issue....🤔

thanks

Hi

. . . . midi keyboard midle C isn't middle c in acid . . . .

Assuming you mean a real MIDI keyboard and not the on screen keyboard, check that you have not set the MIDI keyboard or Acid to transpose up or down.
