Photostory Deluxe plays a song not in my project

Hi and welcome to the forum

First a few tips on posting in the forum:-

Please read this topic and put the following information in your profile signature so we do not have to ask for it:

Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset make/model, audio card or chipset make/model, RAM, hard drive configuration and sizes?
Windows version and is it up to date? Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.
Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .

Also when posting please include the following where applicable:

Audio and/or video file formats being imported
Export format and settings used
MediaInfo data on audio or video - see below

If you have issues with importing audio or video please use MediaInfo to analyse a problem clip and post the results from the Tree view in MediaInfo

Also add any other information you think may be relevant.

If you are new to the software, please read the PDF manual available under Help in the program.

If you are not in Timeline mode in Photostory, switch to it using the icon below

then scroll to the end of the project, then scroll down all tracks, hopefully you will see the music object.

Thanks for the response. I've checked in both Storyboard and Timeline view. I'm at the end of the project, and there are no more tracks or music objects. The attached screen shots shows nothing past 42:11, but a song begins at 42:15. I did figure out that there's a tab I can pull over to make it end at 42:11, but it seems to think there's enough material for a 55 min show.

The end range marker should automatically jump to the end of the last object on the timeline as you edit - this could indicate you have a 'ghost' object on the timeline.

Try the following:

Drag the timeline marker to somewhere near the middle of the timeline then press the End key - the timeline marker should jump to the start of the last object on the timeline, if it jumps anywhere else, ie before or after the last object, this would suggest Photostory thinks there is another object on the timeline.
Start a second timeline in the project, then track by track select the objects in the first timeline track by clicking the first one, hold down the shift key and click the last object, then copy and paste them into the new timeline, do the same for the audio objects.

Play the new timeline and see if you get the music overrun at the end.

If you do not get the overrun, save the project with a new name and then delete the first 'bad' timeline and save again.
