Hi

That sounds like you have an issue with iTunes interfering - DRM?

Try exporting the music file from itunes if you can before using it in Photostory.

Hi,

Just to add to John's post DRM stands for digital rights management which is a way that copyright holders use to protect their copyright.  If you are old enough to rememberVHS tapes, you are likely familiar with Macrovision.  This is similar.  There are ways to circumvent this form of protection, all of them illegal if you live in the United States.

If this is a big important project you may wish to contact the copright holder (not the artist) to purchase a license to use the material and or pay royalties associated with the use of the material.  Be very specific about your intended use, how you plan to distribute the material, how many copies you plan to make, etc.  It this is really only a personal project and or you plan to post it on youtube, you can also make the same request, and some will grant you that right, but many will not.  Failing this, I would check one of the many royalty free music sites out there.  Royalty free does not mean that you will not pay, it just means that you will have a valid license to use that will be cheaper than what the copyright holder of a recording from an original well known artist will cost.
