First, can we clarify something? The latest version of Photo Manager Deluxe is 13.1.1.12. You write of PMD 17. Exactly which version of which product do you have?

The usual reason for the sort of problem you are having is nothing to do with having ordered the software on one computer and then downloading and installing on another, but rather that your antivirus and/or firewall is blocking either the installer from contacting the Magix server or the Magix server responding to the installer. You need to give the app "permission" to make these contacts and to ensure that the installer has full access rights to folders like Documents (under your user name) since such access can be blocked (by AV or firewall) in order to protect from Ransomware or similar nasties.

Hi Jeff - Photo Manager Deluxe 13.1.1.12 is Photo Manager 17 Deluxe the installer's full name is Photo_Manager_17_Deluxe_DLV_en-GB_191001_13-39_13_1_1_12

IIRC there was a name change a year or so ago.

Version is PMD 17. I tried shutting down Norton 360 antivirus and firewall for 15 minutes, but still received the same "installer can't communicate message..." All network (wired) functions are normal, not a connection issue. Not sure what to do next. Is the program available on a disk that I can buy?
